Name: Cadet Bryant
Crew status: Rookie
Primary role: Support Crew

Cadet Bryant teaches at a small junior college in West Texas , and he has been drawn to ultra-cycling after competing within triathlons, marathons, and road racing over the past several years. In the summer of 2005, Cadet tried his hand at ultra-cycling by entering Race Across Oregon, and happened to befriend Allen Larsen while in Portland . Although Cadet lost his two bicycles during his visit to Portland , Oregon , he has recently received sponsorship from Bike Pro of San Angelo, TX and Speedplay Pedal Systems. He has also received two T-Mobile road bikes and two NRS mountain bikes from Giant Bicycles to compete within road racing and mountain biking. Therefore, with plenty of cycling experience under his belt, Cadet believes that he will be an asset to Allen Larsen's crew for RAAM 2006.

Although Cadet was interested in qualifying for RAAM at one time himself, he has now determined that his ultra-cycling experience will be satisfied by rallying Allen Larsen to another podium finish for RAAM. Cadet considers it an honor that Allen has invited him to be part of his crew, and Cadet's mother has even encouraged the venture by saying, “I want you to crew for him so that you'll see for yourself how brutal, terrible, and dangerous it is so that you won't ever do it!”
